Kahal Zur Israel Synagogue
The first sinagogue in America, founded in the XVII century, during Dutch occupation in Brazil. Nowadays, it is a Jewish center with important piece of art and information regarding that period, including archeological excavation “Mikvê” (sort of bathtub for purification). It also presents exhibitions and doucments about Jews in Pernambuco.
