The Park is composed with sculptures made by the plastic artist Francisco Brennand, and it was opened as a celebration for the 500 years of Brazilian discovery. It was installed at the docks of the harbour. Turtles, pelicans, eggs, blowtorche, birds roca and sentinel keep the main piece of the Park, the cristal tower, inspired in a flower discovered by Burle Marx. The crossing from Ground Zero to the Park is daily opened, from 7 am to 5 pm.
