Recife Neighborhood

Birthplace of the city, the island of Old Recife, as the neighborhood is best known, is one of the main destinations for tourists and locals. Marco Zero Square is a great spot for meetings and events. In the vicinity, warehouses with bars and restaurants facing the sea, historic buildings and events like Recife Antigo de Coração give the place the tone. Worth mentioning are the Paço do Frevo and Cais do Sertão museums, the Embassy of the Giant Dolls, the Kahal Zur Israel Synagogue, the Brum Fort, Paço Alfândega, the Craft Center, the Sculpture Park and the Boulevard of Avenida Rio Branco.
