Dedicated to Iemanjá ( The sea goddess in the Afro-brazilian religion), Terreiro ( The Afro-brazilian temple) Ylé Axé Obá Ogunté (1875), better known as Sítio de Pai Adão, houses the living culture of the first Pernambuco Terreiro, third of the country and the first of Brazil Nação Nagô. Families descendants from black Africans live in this place.
