In the Graças neighborhood, Ponte Nova is already a must stop on the Pernambuco gastronomy map. The restaurant turns twelve years of operation demonstrating vocational maturity with a more authoritative cuisine based on its roots. Association of Restaurants of Good Remembrance team Member (ARBL) and with a star in Guia 4 Rodas, since 2008, Ponte Nova presents a lean menu that emphasizes the French cuisine technical basis, but using Brazilian Northeast ingredients, aromas and recipes.
The atmosphere, inspired by the French art-nouveau and the Recife 60`s architecture, invite you to taste a good wine and enjoy a gastronomic experience where the simple is also present and surprising. The architecture with personality, but without glimpses, defines the intimate appeal of the house for those who seek a cozy place.
Under the command of Joca Pontes, it was elected by Veja Recife Magazine (Abril Publisher) the 2012 and 2014 best contemporary cuisine, and the restaurant also won “Prazeres da Mesa 2012” first prize, in the “Restaurant of the Year” category. His wine list is also recongnized through the Prazeres da Mesa Magazine Excellence Award of Excellence in wine charts, from the magazine, since 2011.
