Catamaran Restaurant
Under the command of Juliana Britto and with a varied menu, full of traditional recipes with contemporary touch, the Catamaran Restaurant, located in the Pina Basin, on Cais de Santa Rita, stands out in the Recife gastronomic scene as an excellent option for those who want to enjoy tasty meals in a charming environment with a balneary touch, right in the heart of the metropolis.
The vast menu captures the tropical climate of the space, bringing seaside inspirations to the recipes, with options of fish, prawns, pasta, risottos and salads, as well entree and appetizers.
To start a good meal, the tip of the restaurant is the ‘Catamaran Shrimp’, an entree that brings shrimp with fried musarela cheese and sugar cane honey. Among the main dishes, the right request is ‘Salmon with Herbs’, which features salmon fillet, basil, mint, rosemary and garlic, all accompanied by mashed potatos with herbs and rice with almonds. For those who prefer pasta, the tip is ‘Penne ao Frutos do Mar’, with penne, shrimp, fish, octopus and white wine sauce with nutmeg, served in the crunchy parmesan basket.
The Catamaran Restaurant also has a closed menu for lunch and dinner and an executive and children’s menu. In addition, there are several dessert options and a versatile wine and sparkling wine list, with Brazilian, Argentine, Chilean and Portuguese labels.
