Exposição itinerante “Museu do Futebol na Área” chega no Recife em 25 de abril com entrada gratuita
The Football Museum, an equipment of the Secretary of Culture of São Paulo State and one of the most visited museums in São Paulo city, will have an unprecedented expansion in 2018. As part of its tenth anniversary celebration, it will make na exhibition outside the State for the first time in history. The itinerant show “Museu Futebol na Área”, sponsored by Motorola through the Rouanet Law, will bring to the Pernambuco capital part of the experience that has already delighted more than three million visitors in São Paulo.
The Exhibition
The “Museu de Futebol na Área”exhibition, with 440m², addresses the sport as part of each brazilian history and memory. For this, some environments have information about the football lived in each city of the itinerancy. The Origens Room, for example, has a video and about 80 images of the period in which the sport arrived in Brazil and became professionalized between the end of the nineteenth century and the first decades of the twentieth century. In Recife, about 20 of these images will recount the beginning of the practice of the sport in the Pernambuco capital.
The Números e Curiosidades Room, composed by famous phrases, rules and records of the sport illustrated plaques, receives in this edition of the project a special showcase to expose objects and narrate the football striking facts in each of the cities. Idols from the clubs, as well as personalities from literature and music will be represented at the exhibition from their relations with football.
The World Cup Room recounts all the world cups, from 1930 to the fateful 7 to 1 suffered by the Brazilian team in 2014. As in the museum’s headquarters, the world cuyps history is intertwined with each period political and cultural context.
The Goals and Radio Room recalls dozens of goals and phrases that marked the season. Interactive, the visitor chooses the narrator or the radio broadcaster and watches videos present in the rooms of the same name in the Museu do Futebol.
The exhibition also has an installation called Versus, created especially for this project by the multimedia artist Tadeu Jungle. The experience consists of following an entire match just by watching the fans, following reactions and capturing the emotion contained in a game.
In “Museu de futebol na Área”, the public will also have the chance to experience some of the interactive attractions proposed by the museum, such as button football tables, foosball and a field with a virtual ball.
A striking feature of the project is the inclusion of content specially designed to represent local football. In Recife, for example, the “Museu de Futebol na Área” was consulted by journalist Cassio Zirpoli. Author of the book “1987 – De fato, de direito e de cabeça,” he contributed with a local culture and football survey, focusing on the state most popular teams.
In addition to a showcase with shirts from Recife teams, the exhibition will bring a video with the most beautiful goals of the Pernambuco championship, curiosities about state idols that have achieved national projection, phrases by renowned writers such as Ariano Suassuna and João Cabral de Mello Neto , woodengraving by J. Borges and frevos by Nelson Ferreira, highlighting the connection between Brazilian sport, culture and arts.
The exhibition in Recife will take place between April 25 and May 20 and will be based at Cais do Sertão Cultural Center. Modern and with an interactive exhibition, the museum tells the history of the Sertão universe from the Luiz Gonzaga work, one of the most prominent artists of Pernambuco. In April, a building will be inaugurated next to the museum, completing the original project of creating a more complete cultural center in the region. The exhibition “Museu do Futebol na Area” will be the first to use this place.
