Recife and Olinda Roadmap

Enjoy Recife and Olinda by bicycle for a whole day. Get ready to know part of the history and landscape of these two sister cities. Recife, known as the Brazilian Venice, is the oldest capital of the country, and Olinda, also one of the oldest cities in Brazil, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour begins in the famous Recife neighborhood, and then you get to know the coral reefs on the way to Brasília Teimosa, Pina and Boa Viagem beaches (south side). Back in the city downtown, you will explore the banks of the Capibaribe River and the Santo Antônio, São José and Boa Vista neighborhoods, with a strategic stop in their respective public markets. After stopping for lunch (not included in the price of the tour), it’s time to cycle to Olinda to get to know its streets, slopes, houses, markets and centenary churches, with access to breathtaking views of the historic site. At the end of the cycle tour, the tourist can choose one of the city’s many bohemian points and enjoy a bit more of the local charms.
